Hop Studios pilot

Welcome to Maater

Maater is where Hop keeps the knowledge behind the work - work specs, meeting notes, and client context, with AI chat grounded in real Basecamp todos. Basecamp stays the task authority; Maater holds the context around it. This page gets you from invite to your first useful chat in about 15 minutes.

You're a pilot tester helping shape what ships next: expect rough edges, and tell us when you hit them.

Hop-specific setup

1. Accept the Maater account invite email (from Maater / mail.maater.ai) and set your password. Check spam if it is missing.
2. Sign in at app.maater.ai.
3. Accept the Hop Studios workspace invite. After login it usually appears in your Inbox if you do not get a second email.
4. In the left sidebar under Workspaces, turn on Hop Studios (it should look selected). If Browse looks empty, that workspace is probably off.
   You may also see a personal workspace. For Hop client work, leave personal off for now and keep Hop Studios on.
5. Connect Basecamp under Settings (recommended for Hop).
6. Then follow the shared first-session steps: Web app - first 15 minutes (open a doc, ask chat, file feedback when something is wrong or delightful).

Rowan sends account and workspace invites when it is your turn. Web-only is fine; Cursor + MCP is optional for developers.

Developers

• Ingest a Basecamp todo URL via the command palette to refresh a work spec.
• Ask Rowan for the Cursor extension VSIX, then follow Connect MCP.
• Materialized docs sync beside the client repo - that is the intended daily loop.
